PUBLIC DIALOGUE

Effective strategies to strengthen social dialogue as a driver and governance instrument for building mutual trust at the workplace.

FES and COTRAF warmly invite you to the first event in our series “Public Dialogue for Social Protection”. Throughout the upcoming months we will discuss the potentials of social dialogue to promote democratic governance, representation of worker’s rights and economic stability and analyse how social dialogue is crucial for maintaining and encouraging peaceful and constructive workplace relations.

The first of its kind will focus on effective strategies to strengthen social dialogue as a driver and governance instrument for building mutual trust at the workplace”. Patrick Kananga, Chief Labor and Decent Work Administrator at MIFOTRA, will give insights into the government perspective on enabling factors for effective social dialogue and its linkage to the achievement of the sustainable development goals (SDGs) agenda, especially SDG8. The participants will then be invited to share their views and experiences on this topic.
